The pieces exhibited here contribute to a body of work for a variety of satisfied clients. Though each project's aims are different, my goal is always to maintain a clean and simple aesthetic in order to promote strong visual communication.
I believe that powerful design comes not just from a thorough understanding of graphics and visual elements, but that it also benefits significantly from assuming a multidisciplinary approach. And furthermore, that one must first understand the rules in order to break them. With each project, I strive to understand not only what the project means to the client, but what it should mean to the intended audience as well.
As a professional designer, I have a passion and stake in the work I do, but am not particularly interested in ego-stroking or overstating the importance of design. What I do believe, is that as a conscious individual, the responsibilities we have as members of society should not necessarily be shelved during the work day. To that end, I am particularly interested in work that promotes both social justice and environmental sustainability.
