A New Chapter
After years of freelancing, I'm shifting gears and trading in my 1090's for a W2 (sorry for the reminder, it just happens to be tax time). I've recently joined the talented and tireless team at Change.org as their full-time web designer. And I couldn't be more excited. The work proves to be both inspiring and challenging, and as a growing media site focused on pushing the envelope of the online progressive movement, I feel like I'm in a position where I can contribute to work I'm truly passionate about. In the coming months, I hope to spend time turning ixley.com into a playground for my personal experiments and musings, but that will also depend on how much time I can steal for it.
For the time being, I am no longer taking on additional freelance work. I have my plate more than full and want to keep my energies focused! Thank you to everyone I have worked with over the years. I hope to stay in touch. And come visit Change.org when you get a chance!
